Tomorrowland is an annual music festival held in Belgium. It is estimated that it draws in excess of 400,000 people from more than 200 different countries. Tomorrowland has partnered with Live Media Group in order to stream this weekend’s concert. This will be via a native app as well as a desktop platform.
Nowlive is the technology that is powering the stream. It allows users to switch between different views from around the festival. It also allows them to watch them all at once in grid views.
The service is at the same time social media integrated. The integration is through a social media component. This component lets users to connect to social channels enabling them to view tweets and posts without leaving the stream.
Live Media Group has claimed that last year there were millions of viewers who tuned in to watch Tomorrowland. The number of attendants is expected to increase exponentially this year considering that the festival will even be bigger.

The LA based company has before been involved in live streaming for other immense events including the Grammys and Oscars. The company says they have in total streamed in excess of 800 shows or concerts up to date.
Something of note is that the company at all times undertakes the whole streaming operation themselves. Hence, they provide everything including mobile studio trucks, cameras and even the crew. Part of their work is undertaken via a white labeled solution. An example is when they helped stream Yahoo’s 365 days of concerts series.
